Whiteley Memorials

In 2003, Norm and his wife Carol began regularly attending classes at the Institute for the Study of Western Civilization, vastly expanding their knowledge of the humanities. Most of their studies focused on the history of Western Europe and prompted them to begin traveling there, and then to other places including South America and Asia. Norm soon became a member of the board of this organization and was still serving in that capacity at the time of his death. Norm will be remembered by friends, family and co-workers for his keen intellect, his curiosity about the world, his sense fairness as well as his sense of humor and his kind, gentle, and loving spirit.
