Ukraine and the Ottoman Empire have had a rocky relationship over the centuries; wars were fought, but there was also extensive trade.  How has this relationship influenced today geo-politics between Turkey and Ukraine.  What do these countries have in common and what does the future hold? This talk will also include a visitor’s guide to major cities in both countries, describing the cuisine and the culture of these two nations and including a visit to eerie Chernobyl.

Naeem Zafar is a Dean’s Teaching Fellow and a member of the faculty at the University of California Berkeley, and Professor of the Practice at Brown University. He teaches courses in Entrepreneurship, Technology Strategy, Innovation and New Venture Finance at Brown and Berkeley.  Naeem is the co-founder and CEO of TeleSense, and has authored five books on entrepreneurship.
